| Total Defeat | Game Over (Funds cut in half) |
4-2. Unification Mode
Press the "🗾Map" button to open the national map and conquer adjacent territories from other factions. See the next section for details.
Recommended Progression
Early game: Develop warriors through "Explore" → Once strong enough, conquer neighboring territories with "Unification" → Moving to new territories increases enemy difficulty, so catch stronger warriors and fuse them → Repeat the cycle for the next territory. Moving to distant regions brings tougher enemies and greater rewards in experience and funds.
📊 5. Understanding Stats
| Stat | Range | Description |
| Lv. | 1-99 | Level. Increases by earning experience in combat |
| HP | 1-9999 | Health. Combat ends at 0 |
| SP | 0-99 | Points for using Secret Techniques |
| ATK | 1-9999 | Affects damage dealt |
| DEF | 1-9999 | Reduces damage taken |
| Power (Pw) | 0-100 | Affects ATK growth rate. May increase on victory |
| Intellect (In) | 0-100 | Affects SP max. Reduces quiz choices (higher is better). Increases in Gozen Mondo |
| Aptitude (Ap) | 0-100 | Greatly affects DEF and HP growth. Increases in Tea Ceremony |
| Charisma (Cm) | 0-100 | Affects recruitment success. Bonus from Badges of Valor |
| Exp / Next | - | Experience and next level progress |
| Loyalty | 0-100 | Affects ATK/DEF bonus and evolution conditions |
On level up, HP, ATK, DEF, and SP max increase automatically. The increase amount varies based on Power, Aptitude, and Intellect values.
Power, Intellect, Aptitude, and Charisma are unique to each warrior and can be enhanced through evolution allocation, Tea Ceremony, and combat victories. These bonuses are reflected in real-time in level growth rates, capture rates, and battle parameters.
Power Growth During Combat
When you win a battle (defeat an enemy), the warrior dealing the final blow may have their Power increase by +1 with a chance.
| Condition | Impact |
| Low current Power | Increases easily (less likely when Power is close to 100) |
| Long battle duration | Increases easily (longer battles have bigger bonuses) |
Letting low-Power warriors deal final blows efficiently raises their Power. Long battles with strong enemies are great opportunities for Power growth.
👾 6. Encounters & Enemy Types
6-1. Explore Enemies
Enemies in "⚔️Explore" are warriors from the faction in your current territory. They appear from your current faction 80% of the time, or from adjacent territories 20% of the time. Enemy level is fixed based on distance from headquarters (tier), with stronger warriors appearing in distant territories.
| Tier (Distance from HQ) | Normal Enemy Level | Daimyo Level |
| 0 (Headquarters) | Lv 3-10 | Lv 15-25 |
| 1 | Lv 10〜20 | Lv 25〜35 |
| 2 | Lv 20〜30 | Lv 35〜45 |
| 3 | Lv 30〜40 | Lv 45〜55 |
| 4 | Lv 40〜52 | Lv 55〜67 |
| 5 | Lv 52〜63 | Lv 67〜78 |
| 6 | Lv 63〜72 | Lv 78〜87 |
| 7+ | Lv 72〜80 | Lv 87〜95 |
| Special Territory | Lv 90-99 | Lv 95-99 |
Appearance Adjustment by Fusion Progress
Warriors you own appear more frequently. Less-fused warriors appear more often (up to 2x), while nearly-complete fusions appear less often (down to 0.3x). This helps you efficiently gather fusion materials.
Experience Efficiency Penalty
If your average party level is much higher than the enemy level, earned experience decreases (formula: min(1, (enemy Lv+10) / party avg Lv)). Repeatedly defeating low-level enemies becomes inefficient, so moving to higher-tier areas and fighting stronger enemies is more efficient.
| Type | Display | Characteristics |
| Normal Warrior | ??? (unknown) Name shown (known) | Standard opponent. Can be recruited |
| Daimyo | ☆ next to name | Enhanced stats: HP×2, ATK×1.2, DEF×1.8. Rewards 3x normal |
Daimyo appear in Explore with about 10% chance. Fight them actively for bigger rewards.
About Names
If a warrior whose name you've revealed appears again, their name is shown from the start.
Before Unification
Explore shows warriors from your current territory (80%) and adjacent territories (20%). Seii Taishogun appears only in the final battle.
After Unification
Warriors from all factions except Seii Taishogun & Ashikaga Yoshiaki appear in Explore. You can challenge recruiting them from the Imperial Court icon on the Unification Map.
6-2. Unification (Siege Battle) Enemies
When attacking another faction's territory on the Unification Map, defending warriors appear.
| Item | Content |
| Appearing Warriors | Warriors from the attacked territory's faction |
| Defender Count | Varies by territory (1 or more) |
| Strength | Fixed per territory. More distant territories have stronger defenders (plus siege offset) |
| Recruitment | Can be recruited with Diplomacy Ball even during siege |
Bandit Territories Defense
When attacking a "Bandit Territory" not controlled by any faction, bandits, outlaws, and rogue soldiers appear as defenders instead of warriors. Bandits cannot be recruited and don't appear in the Roster, but defeating them gives experience and funds.
Explore vs. Siege Battle
Explore has enemy levels fixed by the tier of your current location in 1v1 battles (see §6-1). Siege Battles have enemy levels fixed by distance from your headquarters and require defeating multiple defenders. Fully heal at Town before attempting a siege.
6-3. Seii Taishogun (Final Unification Battle)
When you conquer the final territory on the Unification Map, Seii Taishogun Ashikaga Yoshiaki ☆☆ appears as an additional enemy – the ultimate opponent with overwhelming power. For detailed specifications, Shogun Mondo mechanics, and strategy tips, see 11-4. Final Battle with Seii Taishogun.
⚔️ 7. Action Details
7-1. Attack (Normal Attack)
| Item | Content |
| Button | Attack |
| Damage Calculation | Your Power vs Opponent's DEF |
| Name Unknown | Damage dealt is halved |
| After Attack | Opponent may counter with "Counter Slash" |
7-2. Secret Technique
| Item | Content |
| Button | Secret |
| SP Cost | Consumes 1-6 SP based on technique name length (see table below) |
| Power | Varies based on technique name length (see table below) |
| Name Unknown | Damage is halved |
| Enemy Counter | ~20% chance to counter with Secret Technique (Seii Taishogun: 30% + 1.5x damage) |
Secret Technique SP Cost & Power
SP cost and power are determined by the technique name length. Longer names are more powerful but consume more SP.
| Technique Name Length | SP Cost | Power |
| 1-2 characters | 1 | Low (~70%) |
| 3-4 characters | 2 | Normal (~100%) |
| 5-7 characters | 3 | Moderate (~140%) |
| 8-11 characters | 4 | High (~180%) |
| 12-16 characters | 5 | Very High (~220%) |
| 17+ characters | 6 | Maximum (~260%) |
※ Power may vary slightly between techniques with the same character length.
Secret Technique names are fixed for each warrior. You can confirm SP cost and power for each technique on the Secret Technique selection screen.
7-3. Diplomacy Ball (Recruitment)
Diplomacy Ball
Conditions: Enemy name known + At least 1 Diplomacy Ball
| Factors Affecting Recruitment Rate | Details |
| Enemy Remaining HP | Lower HP increases recruitment rate |
| Level Difference | Higher level is advantageous |
| Your Warrior's Charisma | Higher Charisma increases recruitment rate |
| Enemy's Intellect | Enemies with high Intellect are harder to recruit |
| Same Faction | Same faction as your warrior → 1.3x recruitment rate |
| Same Individual | Duplicate of already recruited warrior → 1.5x recruitment rate |
| Same Individual + Same Faction | Both conditions → 2x recruitment rate |
| Daimyo | Recruitment rate drops significantly via separate calculation (max 20%) |
| Seii Taishogun | ~2.5% recruitment rate normally (can vary 1-5% depending on conditions) |
Counter on Failed Recruitment
If recruitment with a Diplomacy Ball fails, you receive a counter slash from the opponent. You take damage equivalent to normal combat damage, so be cautious when attempting recruitment with low HP.
Daimyo / Seii Taishogun Recruitment Limits
- Daimyo: Can be recruited at HP 30% or below
- Seii Taishogun: Can be recruited at HP 10% or below
7-4. Flee
| Item | Content |
| Base Success Rate | ~67% (when party and enemy levels are equal) |
| Level Adjustment | Higher party level = higher success rate, lower = lower (~2% per level difference) |
| Success Rate Range | ~33% - 90% (has minimum and maximum) |
| On Success | Battle ends immediately |
| On Failure | Enemy attacks and deals damage |
Escape Tips
You can almost certainly flee from weaker enemies, but fleeing from stronger opponents is difficult. Avoid reckless battles while raising your level to create favorable conditions.
Unavoidable Battles
In the final battle with the Seii Taishogun and certain special battles, "Flee" cannot be used. Give it your all!
7-5. Swapping Party Members
- Tap a member card to swap immediately
- Members with 0 HP cannot participate in battle
- Compatibility bonuses are re-evaluated when swapping
🤝 8. Compatibility Bonus
At battle start or when swapping members, compatibility is determined between the active member, the enemy's faction, and their Secret Technique name.
| Condition | Effect |
| Same Faction | Enemy ATK 0.5x (less damage taken) + recruitment rate 1.3x "Same faction, harder to hit." |
| Same Individual | Recruitment rate 1.5x |
| Same Individual + Same Faction | Recruitment rate 2x "Spitting image! Recruitment rate up to N%!" |
💬 9. Ask Name
Ask Name appears only when the opponent's name is unknown ("???").
Pressing it displays a historical trivia quiz (4 choices) about the warrior.
| Result | Effect |
| Correct | Name revealed, damage penalty removed, recruitment becomes available. Intellect may increase (lower Intellect = easier to increase) |
| Incorrect | One turn consumed (enemy attacks). Intellect may decrease (higher Intellect = harder to decrease). Can retry unlimited (same question and choices) |
Number of Choices
The number of quiz choices varies based on your deployed warrior's Intellect (including bonuses). Higher Intellect means fewer choices (minimum 2), lower Intellect means more choices (maximum 5).
The quiz screen cannot be closed until you select an answer (background tap or Esc key cannot cancel). You must select one of the choices.
💀 10. Game Over
Occurs when all deployed warriors' HP reaches 0 during battle.
| Occurrence | Content |
| Penalty | Funds reduced by half |
| Recovery | Deployed warriors fully recover after battle ends |
| Return | After control is restored, return to field |
If you suffer Game Over during a Siege Battle, you cannot acquire that territory. If defeated during the final battle with the Seii Taishogun, you can retry anytime by tapping the Imperial Court icon on the Unification Map after returning. Prepare thoroughly before attempting!
10-1. Defeat Analysis (Advisor's Advice)
When defeated in a Siege Battle or the Seii Taishogun battle, the Advisor displays a Defeat Analysis popup. Based on combat statistics (damage dealt/taken, turn count, Secret Technique usage, name discovery status, Shogun Mondo correct answers, evolution status, etc.), the causes of defeat are analyzed from 8 perspectives:
| Defeat Type | Judgment Criteria | Meaning |
| Insufficient Damage | Dealt less than 60% of enemy HP damage (Siege Battle uses total enemy HP) | ATK or level is insufficient |
| Insufficient Defense | Damage per turn is 15% or more of total team HP | DEF or HP is insufficient |
| Insufficient Badges of Valor | Half or more of deployed warriors lack Badge of Valor equipment | Not enough Badges of Valor equipped |
| Insufficient Fusion | Average ATK bonus from Fusion is below 100 | Fusion enhancement of warriors is insufficient |
| Secret Technique Not Used | Secret Technique usage rate below 20% in battles lasting 3+ turns | Using Secret Techniques would greatly increase damage |
| Unknown Names | Enemies with unknown names present (excludes known enemies at battle start) | Damage is greatly reduced without using "Ask Name" to reveal them |
| Insufficient Evolution | Warriors Lv40+ not evolved in Seii Taishogun battle | Evolution provides major buffs: HP ×1.3, ATK ×1.2, DEF ×1.2 |
| Insufficient Shogun Mondo | Fewer than 3 correct answers in Seii Taishogun battle (penalty applied) | Enemy Seii Taishogun's HP and ATK are boosted, putting you at disadvantage |
Each defeat cause is also categorized by severity (severe / moderate). When damage is severely insufficient (dealt less than 30% of enemy HP), specific improvement methods are suggested, such as "Raise levels, use Fusion, and equip Badges of Valor to boost ATK." Display content varies by Advisor rank:
| Rank | Display Content |
| Shinsan | Lists all detected defeat causes with [Defeat Analysis] header |
| Chisho | Displays only the most critical cause |
| Bonsho | Generic message: "You lacked sufficient power" |
| Gusho | No defeat analysis displayed |
In Seii Taishogun battles, the opening message of Phase 1 strategic advice (power insufficiency/Secret Technique misuse analysis) changes in 3 stages based on remaining enemy HP percentage:
| Enemy HP Remaining | Message Tone |
| 30% or less | "Close call" — Almost had them defeated |
| 31-60% | "Still a power gap" — Need another level of enhancement |
| 61% or more | "Significantly insufficient power" — Serious development needed |
In Seii Taishogun battles, Phase 1 strategic advice (power insufficiency/Secret Technique misuse analysis, etc.) appears as a popup on the defeat screen. Click anywhere to return to the field, then Phase 2 Defeat Analysis popup automatically appears. Click anywhere to close Phase 2 as well.
🗾 11. Unification Map
The Unification Map is this game's main feature. Paint all territories your color and defeat the Seii Taishogun that appears last to achieve Unification!

Movement Tips
Movement destinations must be your territories adjacent to your current location. To reach distant territories, you must move through intermediate locations multiple times. Days pass with each move and AI faction battles progress, so move strategically. Tap your current location to return to the field screen.
About Headquarters
Each faction has a headquarters determined at game start that doesn't move during play. The headquarters is defended by a castle lord (Daimyo-class) with more defenders than normal territories. When headquarters falls, that faction is destroyed and all remaining territories become bandit territories.
Your Territories Are Safe
AI factions do not attack your territories. AI factions fight each other, but you can focus on conquering at your own pace.
Date System
The game has an in-game calendar starting January 1, 1570, with days passing as you take actions.
- Explore: 2 days
- Siege Battle (normal territory): 30 days
- Siege Battle (headquarters): 60 days
- Seii Taishogun Battle: 20 days
- Territory Movement: 3 days (some distant territories take 6 days)

Territories You Can Attack
Only enemy territories adjacent to your current location can be attacked. Distant territories cannot be attacked directly. To attack distant enemy territories, first move to make them adjacent.
Current Location Moves After Siege Victory
Winning a siege automatically makes the conquered territory your new current location. This allows you to continuously attack other enemy territories.
Other Factions' Actions (History-Based)
While you act, other factions automatically battle in the background every 30 days. When opening the map, AI faction battle results since the last map opening are displayed together. AI factions do not attack your territories, but attack each other. Each faction has rival and ally relationships based on history, prioritizing attacks on rivals' territories and avoiding allies. For example, Takeda and Uesugi are fierce rivals, while Oda and Tokugawa are allies.
Faction Battle Power
AI battle win rates are affected by the battle power of each faction's warriors. Battle power is the sum of each stat's maximum value (Power, Intellect, Aptitude, Charisma) among all faction warriors. Win rates are adjusted by up to ±15% based on battle power difference. In other words, even weaker factions become strong if they have outstanding specialists.
11-4. Final Battle with Seii Taishogun
Defeating all defenders in the final siege adds Seii Taishogun Ashikaga Yoshiaki ☆☆ as an additional enemy.Seii Taishogun is not affiliated with any faction and possesses overwhelming stats.Only by defeating Seii Taishogun do you achieve Unification!

| Mark | Condition | Description |
| 🎉 | Unification Achieved | Faction that achieved Unification by defeating or recruiting Seii Taishogun |
| 🏆 | New Battle Victory | Faction that won the new battle unlocked after Unification. Proof of ultimate achievement |
The top of the faction selection screen also displays "Conquered X/24 (Complete Conquest Y)" progress. When you obtain 🏆 for all 24 factions, it becomes "All Factions Complete Conquest!"
Clear marks are saved independently from save slots, so they don't disappear even if you delete save data. All clear achievements accumulate even if you play different factions in different slots.

🏯 14. Town
Press Town to open the Town screen.
| Service | Cost | Effect |
| Rest & Heal / Heal All | Varies by total member level | Recover individual or all deployed warriors' HP/SP |
| Buy 1 Diplomacy Ball | 100 kan | Diplomacy Ball +1 |
| Buy 10 Diplomacy Balls | 1,000 kan | Diplomacy Ball +10 |
When purchasing Diplomacy Balls, the log displays amount held after purchase and remaining Funds.
It's important to fully recover at Town before Siege Battles!
Save Slots
Save slots (5 total) display at the bottom of the Town screen. Separate from automatic saves, you can manually save your game state anytime.
| Operation | Description |
| Save | Save current game state to slot. If data exists, an overwrite confirmation appears. |
| Load | Load data from slot. Current progress overwrites, so a confirmation dialog appears. |
| Delete | Delete slot data. Confirmation dialog appears. |
Each slot displays recruitment count, warrior count, in-game date, and save time, so you can identify which point the data is from.
Saving before difficult Siege Battles gives you peace of mind.
🔮 15. Fusion
When you have multiple cards of the same warrior, you can fuse them to strengthen stats.

Fusion Effects
| Effect | Details |
| Stat Boost | Per material card: HP, ATK, DEF each +5% (minimum +10 guaranteed) |
| Bonus Cap | Each stat's Fusion bonus total is capped at Lv × 8.0 (absolute max +600). Reaches +240 at Lv 30, +400 at Lv 50, +600 at Lv 75 |
| Level | Fusion doesn't change level (raise level via combat) |
More Efficient to Fuse After Leveling!
Fusion bonus adds 5% of current stats (minimum +10), so higher levels gain more per fusion. Even low levels get minimum +10 guarantee, so early fusions aren't wasted.
Material cards disappear after fusion. Press "Cancel" during Fusion mode to return. ※ Fusing incapacitated warriors (HP 0) increases max HP but keeps current HP at 0 (doesn't revive).
Mix Deployment and Reserves
Material cards can freely mix deployed and Reserves warriors. Base card can be from either side too.
Automatic Equipment Return
If material cards hold Badges of Valor or Tea Ware, they're automatically returned to inventory. Equipment never disappears.
Fusion Hint
When you successfully recruit a warrior whose card you already have 2+ of, a popup near "Reserves" button appears explaining how to fuse.
This popup repeats until you actually fuse, appearing each time you recruit duplicate warriors. Once you fuse once, it no longer appears.
Fusion Material Appearance Bonus
Explore has a bonus making warriors you already have appear more easily, making it easier to collect Fusion materials.
| Mechanism | Details |
| Target | Warriors with same ID as deployed or Reserves warriors |
| Appearance Bonus | Less-fused warriors encounter their duplicates more easily |
| Bonus Decay | As Fusion bonus approaches cap, bonus weakens; at cap, returns to normal appearance rate |
| Pool Sync | No boost if warrior types ≤10. Boost strengthens as types increase, maximizing at 60+ types |
Utilize Current Location
Since appearing warriors depend on current location's faction, staying in that faction's territory efficiently collects target materials. Less-fused warriors get appearance bonuses, so key materials naturally accumulate.
📜 16. Advisor System
The warrior with the highest Intellect in the deployment team is selected as the Advisor and provides advice during various situations in the game. Advice appears as a Advisor popup in the lower left of the screen.
Advisor Selection Rules
- The warrior with the highest Intellect among deployed team members becomes the Advisor
- Daimyo (☆) and Seii Taishogun (☆☆) cannot become Advisors
- Warriors with 0 HP (unable to fight) cannot be Advisors (during battle, replaced by another warrior at that moment)
- This rule is applied constantly, not just when returning to the main screen, but also during battle
Advisor ON/OFF
From the main screen's Advisor button, you can toggle the Advisor's advice display. When OFF, in addition to hiding the Advisor popup and advice logs, the (M) mark on warrior panels is also hidden.
Behavior During Initial Guide
When you start the tutorial via How to Play → "📖 Tutorial," Advisor automatically switches to OFF (to let you focus on the guide). When the guide ends (completed, skipped, or reset), the ON/OFF state from before the guide started is automatically restored.
Intellect Rank
The quality of the Advisor's advice varies by Intellect. Higher ranks provide more specific and accurate information.
| Rank | Intellect | Advice Characteristics |
| Shinsan | 90+ | Provides specific numerical values. Teaches battle conditions, probabilities, and specific quiz hints |
| Chisho | 70-89 | Provides numerical ranges like "around X-Y%" and abstract hints |
| Bonsho | 40-69 | Uses only qualitative expressions like "looks doable" or "tough." Vague hints |
| Gusho | 39 or below | Rarely reliable. Can give opposite advice 25% of the time |
Situations Where Advisor Provides Advice
| Situation | Advice Content |
| Before Siege Battle Starts | Estimated enemy level, win/loss prediction, name discovery status outlook |
| When Throwing Diplomacy Ball | Recruitment success rate estimate |
| Gozen Mondo (Quiz) | Hints based on rank (Shinsan specific, Chisho abstract, Bonsho vague) |
| Shogun Mondo (Final Battle) | No hints — The advisors withdraw for the final battle. No help is given regardless of rank |
| Seii Taishogun Battle - First Encounter | Thoughts on Seii Taishogun's strength and importance of Shogun Mondo |
| Seii Taishogun Battle - Rematch | Win/loss judgment based on current power (Overwhelming/Competitive/Difficult/Almost hopeless) |
| After Seii Taishogun Battle Defeat | Strategic advice (power insufficiency or suspected Secret Technique/Shogun Mondo error) followed by 8-axis defeat analysis (damage, defense, Badges of Valor, Fusion, Secret Technique unused, unknown names, insufficient evolution, insufficient Shogun Mondo). See §10-1 for details |
| After Siege Battle Defeat | Displays 6-axis defeat analysis (damage, defense, Badges of Valor, Fusion, Secret Technique unused, unknown names). See §10-1 for details |
| When Returning to Main Screen | Priority announcements: Defection risk, low HP, insufficient balls, unequipped Badges of Valor, rare Tea Ware, siege possibilities / Information about strong unrecruited warriors in adjacent enemy territories |
Siege Possibility Judgment on Return (Internal Specifications)
The recommendation "You have the power to attack ○○ soon" performs Monte Carlo battle simulation on the bottom 5 territories (lowest territory level) among adjacent enemy territories. If any territory has a ≥70% win rate with unknown enemy names, the territory with the highest win rate is recommended. Judgment includes equipment factors like Tea Ware, Badges of Valor, Fusion bonuses, and Loyalty, so it aligns with recommendations before siege battle starts.
Information on Unrecruited Strong Warriors (Shinsan & Chisho only)
If an unrecruited warrior (excluding Daimyo and Seii Taishogun) with Power or Intellect ≥90 belongs to an adjacent enemy faction, the Advisor may inform you. When such a warrior is in a territory recommended for siege, this is noted. During peaceful times without warnings, randomly introduces 1 strong warrior from adjacent enemy territories with 30% probability.
Win Rate Calculation for Siege & Seii Taishogun Battles (Internal Specifications)
The Advisor's win/loss prediction estimates the win rate from the actual stats of the deployment team and enemy. The same formula used in battle simulation is used, so it aligns well with actual combat.
- Your side: Calculated with team average ATK/DEF plus Loyalty bonus (+0-20%) on the assumption of using Secret Technique every turn
- Secret Technique power uses the average of the strongest Secret Technique each warrior knows (2 characters = 0.7x to 17+ characters = 2.6x)
- Enemy side: Counters are slash or Secret Technique probabilistic mix. Seii Taishogun has 30% counter Secret Technique chance + 1.5x power
- Compares the number of turns until your total HP is exhausted vs. turns to eliminate all enemies, converted to win rate using logistic function
- Since only one warrior acts per turn in this game, DPS (damage per turn) doesn't depend on deployment count. Numerical advantage/disadvantage is reflected in total HP, so equal total power (total HP, average ATK/DEF) results in the same win rate regardless of warrior count
Win rate is only an expected value-based estimate. In actual combat, it can vary greatly depending on counter Secret Technique frequency and Shogun Mondo results. Be aware that small teams have lower total HP, so the Advisor's win rate tends to be lower.
Seii Taishogun Battle Win/Loss Judgment Threshold
Judgment is determined by win rate based on 3 correct Shogun Mondo answers (no penalty).
| Judgment | Win Rate | Advice Intent |
| Overwhelming Victory | 70% or more | Can win without problems |
| Close Battle | 40-69% | Have a chance with all Shogun Mondo correct |
| Difficult | 15-39% | Need more enhancement via leveling, Fusion, Tea Ware |
| Almost No Chance | Less than 15% | Significant enhancement needed |
Shinsan-rank Advisors also show win rates for "All Shogun Mondo correct / 3 correct / All incorrect" separately.
Gusho's Reverse Advice
Gusho-rank Advisors give completely opposite advice 25% of the time (saying "bad feeling" when you can win, "looks like an easy victory" when it's difficult, etc.). If you want reliable advice, deploy a Chisho-rank or higher Advisor.
💓 17. Loyalty
Each member has Loyalty (0-100), displayed as a gauge on the deployment card. The higher the Loyalty, the more the gauge color changes.
How to Increase Loyalty
| Action | Increase Amount |
| All deployed members on battle victory | +1 |
| Warrior dealing final blow on battle victory (additional) | +2 |
| Warrior who participated in combat during battle victory (additional) | +1 |
| Successful recruitment with Diplomacy Ball | +5 |
| Give Reward (Lv × 20 kan) | +10 (also recovers defection counter by 10) |
About Rewards
Press the 🎁 Reward button at the top of the Reserves management screen to enter Reward mode. For Lv × 20 kan (minimum 20 kan), you can increase Loyalty by +10.
Loyalty Decrease
| Situation | Decrease Amount |
| Regular warrior in Reserves (not deployed) | -1 per battle |
| Daimyo in Reserves (not deployed) | -1 once per 2 battles |
| Seii Taishogun in Reserves (not deployed) | -1 once per 3 battles |
| On successful Flee — Active warrior only | -1 |
Warriors not included in the deployment team have their Loyalty decrease every time a battle occurs. Regularly swap members to manage Loyalty.
Evolved warriorsnever drops below 50. No defection worries!
Defection (Desertion)
Non-evolved warriors defect (desert) if 30 battles occur while their Loyalty is at 0.
Defection Warning
As defection approaches, warnings appear in 2 stages:
| Stage | Condition | Reserves | Main Screen |
| Caution |
10 or fewer battles until defection |
Remaining count displayed on card |
"Reserves" button flashes yellow |
| Danger |
5 or fewer battles until defection |
Card flashes red |
"Reserves" button flashes red |
Loyalty Effects
Based on Loyalty, ATK and DEF receive up to 20% bonus (20% at Loyalty 100). It's also a condition for Evolution.
🏅 18. Badges of Valor
How to Obtain
| Battle Type | Drop Rate |
| Normal Battle | Very rarely 1 |
| Daimyo Battle | Occasionally 1 |
| Seii Taishogun Battle | Guaranteed 1 |
Equipping/Removing
- Click the face photo on member card → Confirm dialog to equip/remove
- When equipped, 🏅 icon appears at the start of Lv display
- Removed Badges of Valor return to inventory, so you can swap between warriors
Badge of Valor Buttons on Item Screen
| Button | Meaning |
| Give | Equip Badge of Valor to warrior who doesn't have one |
| 🏅 Equipped | Warrior already equipped (tap to remove) |
Effect (On Level Up)
When a member wearing a Badge of Valor levels up, stat growth gets a multiplier.
| Warrior Type | Growth Multiplier |
| Regular warrior | 3.0x |
| Daimyo | 1.5x |
| Seii Taishogun | 1.2x |
Most effective on regular warriors! Develop your favorite member into an "ace."
Additional Bonus When Equipped
Warriors wearing a Badge of Valor gain Charisma +15 in recruitment rate calculations. When equipped, Charisma in the parameter display shows in yellow.
Badges of Valor don't come off even if moved to Reserves. If used as Fusion material, they're automatically returned to inventory.
You cannot equip/remove Badges of Valor during battle.
🍵 19. Tea Ceremony
When you return to camp after battle victory, if any warrior holds Tea Ware, a Tea Ceremony event may trigger at a fixed probability. In Tea Ceremony, you can raise a warrior's Aptitude.
Obtaining Tea Ware
Tea Ware drops randomly when you win battles during Explore or Siege Battles. Rarer tea ware has lower drop rates.
| Tea Ware | Rank | Max Aptitude Increase | Aptitude Bonus | Drop Rate |
| Raku Bowl | ★1 | +2 | ― | 6% |
| Seto Tea Jar | ★2 | +3 | ― | 2.4% |
| Ido Bowl | ★3 | +5 | +3 | 0.8% |
| Tsujinomegashina | ★4 | +8 | +5 | 0.2% |
| Hirakarakumo Kettle | ★5 | +12 | +8 | 0.05% |
Higher drop rates in Daimyo & Seii Taishogun battles!
Drop rates increase 2× during Daimyo battles and 5× during Seii Taishogun battles.
Equipping Tea Ware
Select tea ware from the Items screen in the Reserves and equip it to a warrior. Warriors holding tea ware will display the 🍵 icon on their deploy card. If a warrior already holds different tea ware, you can replace it directly after confirmation (no need to unequip first).
Button Display in Tea Ware Mode
| Button | Meaning |
| Equip | Equip tea ware to a warrior without one |
| 🍵 Equipped | Warrior already holding the selected tea ware (tap to unequip) |
| 🍵 Swap | Warrior holding different tea ware (tap to replace) |
Additional effects of holding tea ware
- Warriors holding tea ware will not have their Loyalty decrease regardless of rank (prevents desertion).
- High-rank tea ware (★3 Ido Bowl or higher) grants an Aptitude bonus just by holding it. While the bonus is active, the Aptitude stat displays in gold.

Aptitude UP!
How Aptitude Increases Work
The "Max+N" on tea ware shows the maximum increase amount. Actual increases are determined by probability: lower current Aptitude makes it easier to gain, while higher Aptitude makes it harder. A minimum increase of +1 is always guaranteed. If you select a warrior whose Aptitude is already at the cap (100), a message displays and you can select a different warrior.
To raise Aptitude efficiently:
Equipping high-rank tea ware allows you to raise Aptitude significantly in a single Tea Ceremony. Combine this with the +15 points you can allocate during Evolution to maximize warrior growth.
Tea Ware Name Formatting
In the item selection screen and various messages (equip confirmation, replacement, Tea Ceremony results, etc.), the rank displays after the tea ware name in the format "Name (★N)". Example: Raku Bowl (★1), Hirakarakumo Kettle (★5)
Tea Ware Display on Main Screen
The tea ware count displayed in the status area on the right side of the main screen shows only unequipped inventory. Already-equipped tea ware is not counted.
Color coding by rank
Tea ware 🍵 icons change color based on rank. This applies to the status area, item list, and warrior panels alike. Higher ranks display more vivid colors.
🎯 20. Gozen Mondo
When you return to camp after battle victory, a Gozen Mondo event may trigger at a fixed probability. In Gozen Mondo, you can raise a warrior's Intellect.
Occurrence Conditions
- After winning a battle and returning to camp (excludes special battles)
- Only checked if Tea Ceremony doesn't trigger (mutually exclusive with Tea Ceremony)
- Occurrence chance: 5%
- Tea Ware is not required
Gozen Mondo Flow
- Win battle and return to camp
- Gozen Mondo triggers (5% chance)
- Select one warrior from your deployed squad
- Take a 10-question multiple choice quiz
- All answers checked together → Intellect UP!
Intellect-based Option Reduction
The higher a selected warrior's Intellect, the fewer quiz options appear. This works the same way as name-based quizzes.
| Intellect | Effect |
| 95 or higher | 2 dummy options removed (effectively 2 choices) |
| 80 or higher | 1 dummy option removed (effectively 3 choices) |
| Below 80 | Normal 4 choices |
Intellect Increase
Intellect increases based on the number of correct answers. Lower current Intellect makes it easier to gain, while higher Intellect makes it harder (uses the same probability curve as Tea Ceremony Aptitude).
A minimum increase of +1 Intellect is guaranteed if you answer a certain number correctly (required correct answers increase with higher Intellect). Even correct answers might result in +0 depending on probability. No increase if all answers are wrong. Intellect won't increase if already at 100.
| Current Intellect | Correct Answers for +1 Guarantee |
| 1–18 | 1 question |
| 19–36 | 2 questions |
| 37–54 | 3 questions |
| 55–72 | 4 questions |
| 73–90 | 5 questions |
| 91–100 | 6 questions |
Differences from Tea Ceremony
| Tea Ceremony | Gozen Mondo |
| Stat increased | Aptitude | Intellect |
| Required item | Tea Ware | None |
| Mechanism | Aptitude UP based on tea ware rank | Intellect UP based on quiz correct answers |
| Occurrence chance | 5% | 5% (only checked if Tea Ceremony doesn't trigger) |

You cannot evolve during battle. Evolve after battle ends.
💡 22. Playing Tips
Estimated Play Time
| Goal | Estimated Time | Notes |
| First Siege Battle Clear | 30 min – 1 hour | Possible with 6 warriors + a few fusions |
| Unification (Defeat Seii Taishogun) | 8–15 hours | Conquer all 28 territories + fusion bonus +400 training needed |
| Roster 100% (Recruit all warriors) | 15–25 hours | Grinding needed to collect warriors from all factions |
| Secret Elements Clear | 20–30 hours | New battles unlock after achieving Roster 100% |
※ Varies greatly by playstyle
Above are standard-pace estimates. Efficient fusion and training can reduce time, while maxing all warrior stats requires significantly longer.
22-1. Early Game – Assemble Your 6 Warriors
Securing 6 deployed warriors is the top priority
Actively recruit warriors through Explore, aiming for 6 deployed + several in Reserves. Challenging Siege Battles without 6 assembled is dangerous.
Target warriors from your own faction
Fighting warriors from your faction reduces damage taken and grants ×1.3 recruitment bonus. Same-card duplicates grant ×2 recruitment bonus. Early on, the appearance pool is limited to your faction only (~13 warriors), making duplicate cards and fusion easier.
Territory expansion is the best training!
Expanding territory and moving to higher-tier regions increases enemy levels in exploration, granting more experience and Funds. Staying in one area caps your growth potential. Actively wage Siege Battles to expand and move to new regions.
22-2. Fusion – Essential for Siege Battles
You cannot win Siege Battles without fusion!
Siege Battle enemies have territory-level bonuses plus additional offsets. Castle lords gain ×8 HP, ×2.5 Power, ×3.5 Defense. Level alone won't let you win. Boost all stats by +200 or more through fusion before attempting Siege Battles.
Fuse early and often!
Warriors appearing in Explore depend on your current faction. While in one territory, you have the best chance to gather fusion materials. Warriors with less fusion progress appear more often, but moving to new faction areas makes target materials harder to find. Keep main forces fused regularly.
Fusion is more efficient at higher levels!
Fusion bonus equals 5% of current stats (minimum +10 guaranteed). Higher levels yield larger per-fusion gains. Early game gives minimum +10, but around 200+ stats you get +10+, and near Lv60 you gain +15–20 per fusion. Fusing at higher levels requires fewer attempts to reach caps.
22-3. Siege Battles – Preparation is Key
Visit Town before Siege Battles!
Siege Battles are continuous combats. Always fully heal at Town before attempting one. Don't forget Diplomacy Balls. Save before difficult Siege Battles for safety.
Attack neighboring territories first
Siege Battle difficulty increases with distance from your base. Neighboring territories (distance 1) have base Lv 10–15, so early game with fusion bonuses wins easily. Expand methodically from nearby territories.
Recruitment during Siege Battles
Even during Siege Battles, you can recruit defending warriors with Diplomacy Balls. Great chance to ally with powerful warriors from other factions!
22-4. Training – Create Your Ace
Equip Badges of Valor to standard warriors!
Standard warriors with Badges of Valor gain 3.0× level-up growth bonus, the largest boost. Develop your favorite warrior as an "ace."
Raise Loyalty before evolving!
Deploy your ace candidate frequently to raise Loyalty, then evolve at Lv40 + Loyalty 100. Allocating evolution points to Power and Aptitude further boosts growth.
Use Tea Ware for Tea Ceremonies!
Equipping tea ware and winning battles may trigger Tea Ceremonies afterward. Aptitude greatly affects Defense and HP growth at level-up, so steadily raise it with Tea Ceremonies. Higher-rank tea ware grants larger increases per ceremony.
22-5. Defeating the Seii Taishogun
Upon achieving unification, you likely still lack sufficient power for the Shogun battle.
The intended flow is to enter a "training phase" collecting Badges of Valor and building fusion bonuses, then attempt it. With proper strengthening, you can defeat the Shogun near Lv50, with Lv70 being optimal. Losing on the first try is normal gameplay, so keep training without frustration.
Seii Taishogun Ashikaga Yoshiaki has ×10 HP, ×8 Power, ×8 Defense – the ultimate enemy
Enemy HP is at least ~6600–8120, far exceeding your total. Level alone won't win. The three pillars of strategy are fusion bonuses, Loyalty, and Badges of Valor.
| Item | Guideline |
| Deployed Count | 6 warriors – full squad required |
| Level | All Lv50+ recommended (with Badges of Valor + solid fusion, defeatable near Lv50. Shogun level = your level +10, min 80, max 99) |
| Loyalty | All 100 (grants +20% Power and Defense) |
| Badges of Valor | All recommended equipped (×3 level-up gains dramatically boosts win rate) |
| Fusion Bonus | Standard team + Badges of Valor: all +400+ nearly guarantees win (Lv60+) Elite team + Badges of Valor + 5 quiz correct: +300+ winnable from Lv45 |

※ Badges of Valor multiply level-up stat gains ×3, so earlier equipping = larger HP growth (equipping all by Lv30 is ideal).
Strategy tips
- With solid training, defeat is possible near Lv50; Lv70 is most efficient! Boss has a minimum level of 80, so leveling to Lv70 gives you a stat advantage the boss won't have (Lv71+, both scale equally).
- Equip all warriors with Badges of Valor as priority! HP and all stats grow significantly, making it easier to endure the Shogun's fierce attacks (guaranteed drop from Seii Taishogun, 15% from Daimyo, 1% from standard warriors).
- Aim for 4+ correct in Shogun Mondo! 5 correct = 5 turns without counterattacks; 4 correct = 3 turns. Even 3 correct has no penalty.
- Don't hesitate to use Secret Techniques. The Shogun has extremely high Defense, so normal attacks won't deal enough damage.
- Prioritize training and fusing high-Power warriors (Power 80+) for easier ATK growth.
- Raise Aptitude to strengthen Defense for easier endurance against the Shogun's powerful attacks (high-rank tea ware grants Aptitude +5–10).
- The final territory's Siege Battle extends into the Shogun fight, but after Shogun Mondo, HP and SP fully recover, so go all-out in the Siege Battle phase too.
Path to Fusion +450
Reaching fusion +450 requires ~25–30 fusions (early game gives minimum +10 per fusion due to low stats, but efficiency improves at higher levels). Gathering materials from your faction pool (~13 warriors) requires ~150–250 battles per warrior with appearance bonus. Fusing steadily from early game while pursuing unification ensures sufficient power by the Shogun fight.

Overall Statistics
About Win Count
Win count includes not just battles where you defeated enemies, but also battles where you successfully recruited. Total Battles = Wins + Losses + Escapes (Recruitments are a subset of Wins).
Deployed Warriors Ranking
The TOP 10 warriors by deployment frequency display in ranking format.
Deployment count increases by +1 for all warriors on your team with HP > 0 at battle start. Multiple cards of the same warrior add their count, so favorite warriors naturally rank higher.

About Reloading During Battle
If you reload the browser during battle, it counts as "escaping" and days pass (normal battle: 1 day, Siege Battle: 10 days). Reduced HP remains, so reload doesn't allow advantageous rollback.
